Paulyne Ordono, BSN, RN, extended her heart to the family of a dying patient showing great compassion.

"My family would like to extend wholeheartedly our deepest gratitude to all those who have given care to our mother during her last days. I am writing to let you know how much through all the pain and suffering my mom silently went through, I know that Paulyne was reading through her mind. The moment we moved to BMT, she immediately welcomed us with smiles and cleansed my mom in her room. When we entered mom's room she said, "Welcome to the VIP section of the Hospital!" Paulyne didn't leave her shift without making sure that me and my sister were taken care of too. The following morning, Paulyne was off, but she came in and gave us hugs meaningful hugs that only people like us-daughters who were watching their mother departing from the world would understand how a hug like that would mean. Nurses are people too! This makes me salute Paulyne as a nurse with a heart, a nurse who is human liker her patients. She told me later that I am lucky to have served my mom because her mom is far from her and she cannot hold and hug and kiss her like the way I did before my mom died. I would like to thank nurses like Paulyne who share with their patient's sorrows and grief's. We are so humbled by the compassion, the care and the sympathy that she has shown to my mother and to us, the family who do not feel alone because of nurses like Paulyne! Please share our deepest gratitude to Paulyne! Thank you so much Paulyne!"

This is just one example of how Paulyne goes above and beyond for her patients and their families every day. Service is definitely her passion.
