... I was admitted to the 3rd floor for recovery from an auto accident, which caused very serious injury to my neck, among other things. During my stay there, I was cared for by Pam Ryan, RN. This is to commend her for being an excellent nurse. No matter what the situation or how difficult I may have become, she was consistently caring, patient, kind, engaged, thorough and professional.

Pam did her job without hurry, annoyance, stress or fatigue. She was always totally present in the moment, even while under time constraints. She worked with precision and professionalism. I always felt nothing but kindness and understanding from her.

I was under very physically vulnerable circumstances, yet I have often thought of Pam and would like her to be recognized for her compassionate care. I am grateful for having been helped by her.
