Micah Swan is the most compassionate person I have ever met. He called the Neurologist and my floor doctor many times even though he knew that they don't like that. In six days he became my brother. No one did more for me than Micah. He made his job look easy because he loves what he does. He did not treat me as a patient; he treated me as a friend. He told the doctor in front of me that "this man is in a lot of pain, not like some patients that just want medication".

Please do all you can for him. I have a problem with my L1; the nerve will never get better. He always said sorry, it wasn't necessary. I knew how he felt, as you can see I'm not much for writing, in short all I can say is Micah truly deserves this award.

Micah was very helpful right from the start. He introduced himself right at shift change stated he would return shortly. When he returned he asked what he could do to make his patient comfortable or answer any questions. Throughout our stay he would explain to us what the doctor had said so we could understand, made calls to people when they were not responding to our doctor's requests. He was very helpful our entire stay.

Micah is a very valuable employee. He would stay with my husband while I stepped out for a short walk. Answered any drug questions we had, was upset when things were not progressing and no answers.
