1) I have never seen Mary lose her composure or temper in the many years I have observed and interacted with her as an OR Nurse (comforting and calm in all situations, exceptional people skills). She recently has been promoted to Lead Charge Nurse in part because of her knowledge and skill, but also because she has genuine concern for our patients, families and those whom she comes in contact with on a daily basis. Mary is a compassionate and nurturing person as well as an exceptional nurse!


2) Mary is the Lead in the Moline Operating room and she does a fantastic job. She juggles all of the staff assignments, anesthesia, scheduling and the surgeries with a smile on her face. She remains calm in difficult situations and is definitely a role model to her team. She is always willing to lend a hand whenever she is needed and goes to extreme effort to maintain the schedule and keep all cases on time. Staff and Physicians love her. She is definitely a great example of a DAISY Nurse!!
