About a year ago, I had a hospitalization and surgery for a bowel issue. Mary was my nurse then. At that time, I was so thankful she was my nurse. She was so gentle which is important following surgery, but not only with her actions, but her words as well. After the doctor provided me information that I didn't want to hear, she knew I needed her. She sat with me and allowed me to vent and cry. I am doing better, but needed a knee replacement, so I had another hospitalization. Mary was my nurse again. I was so happy to see her and comforting to know she remembered me and we shared that connection. Many of the nurses are great, but she is the most patient, kind, understanding and sincere nurse I have ever been cared for by. I have 4 small children and the stress being hospitalized with them at home brought my anxiety to a new level. She helped me have my time with my family but guided it to allow just enough time for me to see them, but still rest. Every day she was my nurse was a better day for me. I associate Centegra with this nurse. She makes all the difference to me.
