Manoj showed my family the utmost respect. He put my dad firstbut made sure we understood what was going on. He was so knowledgeable and kind. He also had a wonderful sense of humor. Manoj treated my father with dignity, making sure he was comfortable and safe. Manoj was and still is the kind of nurse everyone wants. His expression tells you he cares and that it's more than a job for him. He had to deal with several different family members and personality types and he did that with such grace, while always keeping my dad's health as the top priority.
I also saw him inspire my daughter, which is not an easy task. She said one day after watching Manoj work all day, "Maybe I'll be a nurse, he makes it look fun!" Three of my siblings and an aunt are nurses and she always said, "I could never do that." This is an amazing young man. The ICU is lucky to have him and I'm so grateful he was there for my dad and our family. I will never forget him.

Manoj provides clinically competent care to his patients, but more importantly instills trust and confidence. He ensured patients and family members have the necessary information and support to make care decisions. He does this with sensitivity and grace as well as sometimes a much-needed sense of humor. His clinical practice is really what defines Manoj: alleviating pain and suffering, being honest without taking away hope, and being compassionate and nonjudgmental. His thorough bedside report care between nurses is smooth and seamless, eliminating risk for error. As I observe and have conversations with Manoj, it is obvious he cares deeply about his patients, families, and his coworkers. Manoj not only personifies our commitment to provide an inspiring patient experience, but he also has inspired a young girl to think about becoming a nurse. We are very fortunate to have Manoj on our team. Thank you, Manoj!
