My husband was in the CCU from Dec 28 to Jan 11. Mandy was his nurse toward the end when some very difficult decisions had to be made. She was a great help to us. Her nursing skills are top notch. She was so caring and kind, not only to him but to our whole family. She sat in on our meeting with Dr. Skelton which we appreciated. She is the kind of nurse who considers the whole person and his family. She truly deserves a DAISY award.

My father-in-law suffered an incident and was admitted to the hospital. I found Mandy to be an extremely competent, thorough, highly-trained, personable and caring individual. Several times, when she thought something was wrong, or should be changed, she immediately sought the proper person to take care of it. She was very good about explaining things to the family, offering options, choices, possible outcomes, for everything she discussed. She was a very warm, caring, sympathetic person, who made sure the entire family was comfortable, educated, informed and knew what was being done and why. When it was time to discuss end-of-life issues, she was very supportive and forthright and ensured we had all the information we needed to make an informed decision. She made an unbearable situation bearable. It was as if it were an honor for her to serve my father-in-law and our family. I offer the sincere thanks of our entire family to Mandy. I thank God for persons like Mandy, who serve as his angels.
