Lynn McLaughlin was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient who she helped stabilize after witnessing a horrific car accident while visiting friends out of town. Little did she know that she would care for this same patient once he was transferred to her floor from the ICU at Froedtert Hospital. The patient states,

"I knew that she was my guardian angel. Lynn was there for me and did everything she could to support and comfort me."

Lynn shared pictures of her cabin up north, and of past vacations to give her patient something positive to focus on. From the courage she showed at the accident scene, to the compassion she practiced for the following months, Lynn received this DAISY Award.
