A Thank You note to Lillie Escobar:
Hello, I have court tomorrow so I may not be able to see you again and tell you in person but I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do and for how hard you work. You really are the greatest, hard-working, dedicated, prettiest nurse there ever could be. Thank you for everything from care, advice, and even introducing me to Chaplain Nick. You're the best Lillie, thank you again. I just felt like you probably don't hear that enough and you deserve it.

Ms. Escobar started out as a student nurse worker at LAC + USC Medical Center in 1992. She has been a county relief nurse for 23 years in the Jail Ward unit. Ms. Escobar is a diligent, proficient, and responsible nurse who provides patient care to the unit with respect and dignity. She performs her patient care activities with the utmost professionalism. She is compassionate, dedicated, an advocate for patient's rights and considers her patient's values and beliefs when providing care. She continues to support and guide the new hires to the unit with her years of nursing experience including me, when I was hired 20 years ago as a brand new nurse. I have the deepest respect for Ms. Escobar and her presence in the Jail Ward has contributed to bringing the Jail Service to a higher level of excellence for her caring of our patients. We are all very proud of you!"
