I cannot describe one situation where Leslie demonstrated all of the criteria that are listed on the previous page, but I can say that Leslie showed all of these qualities day in day out when she nursed our babies L for 4 months + E for 2 months. Without her we would not have made it through our time at the NICU. She supported us as a family and knew exactly what we needed & when we needed it.

We could always breathe easier when she was around and we trusted her completely and that made a huge difference. She always coordinated well with all other team members so the babies got the best care and always educated us so we were ready to take them home. Leslie is incredibly compassionate and went above and beyond her job to make sure our babies survived and had the best start in life that they could have under the circumstances. Leslie is an exceptional nurse and role model.
