First of all I want to say all the nurses and staff were great. My wife was admitted on Nov 26 at 3:30 AM for a very bad fall resulting in a fractured skull, brain swelling and bleeding. After 4 days the doctors had thought the risk of more swelling was very low. My wife started to get better but then on Wed and Thursday she was not as alert. On Friday the 5th of Dec she barely opened her eyes. A CAT scan determined the swelling went from 7cm to 13cm and crossed the center line of her brain. On Saturday they put a breathing tube in her and used medications to help the swelling. Kylee, our nurse, was to work a 12 hour shift and was asked to work a little longer. By the time she did all her paperwork, she ended up having a very long day. She was always kind and polite to us answering all the questions that I had. We spent 19 days in ICU, 5 days on the 6th floor and 19 days in rehab. We have made a remarkable recovery to since then. We have a little ways to go yet but we are going great. Thank you Kylee for helping us on our way.
