Julie Neeley has worked at Mercy – North Iowa for more than 44 years and during her tenure also has been named a Mercy Legend, a prestigious annual award given to an associate who is admired for his/her achievements and is an inspiration to others.
Julie is the second Mercy nurse to receive the award. “Julie is a very special person who possesses an outstanding caring attitude … In all that she does, she places her patient as her number one priority”.
“Nurses are heroes every day. It’s important that our nurses know their work is highly valued, and The DAISY Foundation provides a way for us to do that,” said Kim Chamberlin, Mercy – North Iowa Vice President, Patient Services/Chief Nursing Officer.
