My Dad had a radical removal of his bladder for cancer. He had a rough go after surgery and kept crashing in Recovery. The next day he was moved to the 12th floor where they continued to monitor his pain.

As staff increased the meds throughout the day, he had a bad reaction to them. Jesse was his nurse and observed the reaction about 2 minutes after pushing a bolus of medicine through his IV. Jesse stayed over an hour after her shift to make sure she spoke with his doctor about my Dad's reaction to the medicine.

My Dad was then moved to the 7th floor for monitoring. After a couple of days, my Dad was moved back to the 12th floor. Jesse came to his room and helped get him up for the first time and checked on him.

She went above and beyond her duties and showed a very caring heart. She assured me throughout everything which was greatly appreciated.
