I can honestly say that Jen is one of the most compassionate, hardworking nurses I have had the pleasure of working with! One day we (3S) were short a nurse and a tech. Jen, who was working as the PCC, was on the floor the entire shift, doing both the work of a tech and a nurse. She gave numerous bed baths and assisted in ADLs. This is not the first time this has happened. I am a PCT and there have been times where we have been swamped with admissions, discharges, and a very heavy floor (especially on the weekend when 3N closes). Almost every shift I work with Jen, she takes all her patients (which is usually six) as primaries and completes all their ADLs in addition to her nurse duties. She is truly amazing! She is compassionate and hardworking and certainly a team player. I have never seen a nurse as hardworking as Jen, and she always has a smile on her face! I want to thank Jen for her hard work and for always going above and beyond. It does not go unnoticed! Thank you Jen, for being the nurse I aspire to be.
