I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and all of the staff on CVICU for the exceptional care provided to my husband during his recent hospitalization. During such a difficult time, the staff of CVICU truly embodied the vision of the hospital in caring for him as they would themselves, their family and their friends. In particular, I would like to commend Jenna Paull.

Jenna’s wonderful sense of humor and calm, reassuring personality helped to make a difficult time bearable. Jenna went out of her way to take him on a “field trip” on his last day on the unit while he was waiting to be transferred to the Hartwell Suite. Jenna arranged for a wheelchair, portable telemetry unit, and additional staff member, and together they took him down to the Atrium where he played the piano. The picture of him playing the piano in the Atrium, only one day after being taken off of the ventilator, touched the hearts of so many of our friends on Facebook! What a testament to the caring and concern demonstrated by the staff of CVICU.
