When arriving on the unit I was bleeding after my angiogram. Jen was very careful in pressing my wound area every 15 minutes without fail for several hours. She was in my room all the time making sure I was o.k. When her shift was over the bleeding had stopped. Upon returning in the morning, she immediately noticed that the wound was seeping and took total control. I had terrible bruising in my groin and several nurses came to check. Jen made sure I at no time was uncomfortable or embarrassed. She was very concerned with my care and never left me to wonder. I was very lucky to have her and her caring ways.

Jen is an exceptional nurse because she has a way of putting you at ease during your recovery and always has a smile on her face and is always upbeat. It's obvious that she's very competent and knowledgeable, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about you while you are under her care. She's the best nurse I've ever had. Thanks again!

I was a patient in Day Surgery with observation for my 3rd implantation of a pacemaker and leads. Jen Moores was the nurse responsible for my care. Complicating my recovery was my painful right eye after 7 hours under anesthesia and a dry cornea. I found it very reassuring to listen to Ms. Moores who helped me understand my eye problem and what medical staff were doing to alleviate the negative symptoms. I found her presence and in particular voice to constantly provide helpful information in a confident and believable manner. I was impressed by the "can do attitude" that showed me her caring nature and high level of professionalism. Because of Jen's exemplary nursing skills; I found I trusted her which gave me confidence we were on the road to recovery. I believe we, the patients, are so very fortunate to have experienced her professional skills and genuine kindness!
