Jeanne is an emerging leader in the Empergency Department Trauma Center and is highly respected by her team. She is passionate about the care she delivers and always comes to work with a positive attitude and ready to work. Our assignments in the EDTC frequently change/rotate. She never complains about where she is scheduled to work for the day.

Jeanne is a very hard worker and even when not in charge has a global view of the department needs and step in wherever needed. Examples of this include: greeting the ambulances as they arrive even when not scheduled to go in her zone; triaging a patient or two if she sees that there is a delay or back up; willingness to assist with a critically ill child or trauma; always carrying a full patient assignment.

Jeanne is an expert with EPIC ASAP documentation and is often asked for assistance or clarification when it comes to documentation. She works 12 hour shifts and her energy level does not deplete as her shift wanes - she works the busiest hours from 1100-2300.

Jeanne is a frequent preceptor and mentors many new orientees in the department. She challenges them to think critically and get the experiences they need to be successful. She works well with the orientation committee, the relief charge nurse group, they physician group and her peers. Jeanne is empathetic to her patients and families and gives them best care. She exemplifies our mission as a caring, competent nurse and emerging leader in the department.
