I met Jacqueline when I was at the Women's Hospital for an ablation procedure. She was taking care of me as I was coming out of anesthesia and she felt a lump in my right breast. After she asked if she could do an exam, she found two more lumps. I remember that she was adamant that I go and have a mammogram and get them checked out. I am going in on Monday to have a mastectomy and I want to thank Jacqueline for caring so much that she went beyond just doing her job that day. I had already had my yearly mammogram in three months before so who knows when or if I would have found the lumps on my own. I have three small children and a wonderful husband and I am going to beat this cancer and live a long life with all of them, and I can't help but think that part of the reason I am going to do that is thanks to Jacqueline Stanzel. We go through life not always knowing how we touch other people's lives but I want her to know that she has touched mine in an amazing way. Thank you so very much.
