Several students have had the opportunity to assist Greg in the Skilled Care Unit. One student wrote " Greg is extremely proud of the patient care he provides. This is reflective upon the patients that he serves. His presence remains warm and inviting, with care and compassion. Greg's ability to connect to each patient is a wonderful contribution to his profession. He shares with me he has a strong fascination with psychology and to my understanding; he may even hold a degree within the area. At any rate, this knowledge is put to tremendous use towards Greg's unique outlook of understanding the basic need of healing the human soul."

Greg has impressed each and every student with his compassion, caring and time management. He is always enthusiastic about taking a student and makes them feel welcome in Skilled nursing. Every one of them comes away talking about how much they have learned from him and his interaction with clients. Greg sits down with every patient and briefly talks with them. This visibly comforts and empowers his patients, he also gains a better understanding about each client's physical and emotional needs. One client had just experienced her first day eating in the dining room and Greg took the time to let her express her worries, fears, and concerns about the experience. Greg helped her to problem solve and reiterated the importance of her leaving her room for the social interaction and offered words of encouragement. By acknowledging her concerns and congratulating her on her accomplishments, Greg empowered this woman and helped her to meet new challenges with confidence and less fear.
