My mother was in the hospital non resposive, unable to eat or drink. The only medicine that could help her was an oral liquid. She needed 2 ounces of it 4 times a day. Garry was her nurse and patiently sat by her bedside with a teaspoon slowly and gently giving her a half teaspoon at a time until she had taken the entire 2 ounces. About 18 hours later she came out of her spell, while she had no memory of that day, her entire family witnessed Garry's gentless and devotion to his patient. Not only was he caring to her, he was also caring and concerned for the family.

...

My mother was all set to leave for Destin with us on vacation but instead we ended up in the ER with her. She insisted I go on with my family. Two days later we learned that she had started feeling worse but insisted that I stay with my family and she was receiving outstanding care from her nurses and mentioned Garry by name. She said that she just "clicked" with him and I could tell that he was making her feel very at ease in spite of her pain and fear. That reassurance was the only reason I was able to honor her wishes and not rush to be by her side. He was truely a blessing to us caring for her with such obvious skill and concern.
