During my first admission, I was fortunate to have his care for a few days. He was very attentive to my needs and most importantly symptoms that I would have not recognized while I was undergoing chemotherapy. During the second week when I was experiencing the side effects of chemo, he immediately detected fever and possible infection even when the vitals machine was not accurate. Because of this the PA was called immediately to confirm, cultures taken, and appropriate actions were taken to prevent complications. He was also so caring! Daniel brought a warm cup of Starbucks coffee to cheer my spirits which helped in the recovery process. He was also the only nurse who gave me full information about many things such as proper bathing for chemotherapy patients, etc. Little but important details every patient should know without having to ask the nurses. I am very grateful to have his care. I highly recommend Daniel Borski for the DAISY Award. He deserves this recognition and encouragement for his dedicated work as a nurse.
