I was readmitted with severe pain three weeks after delivery. I was unable to walk and was running a fever of over 103 degrees. My first full day of admission, Daizy was my nurse. She was truly my guardian angel sent from God. I was scared because the doctors had not figured out yet what was going on with me. Daizy had the other nurses watch her patients while she went to radiology with me. She stayed the entire time never leaving my side but once to get meds for me.

While in the waiting area, I became very nauseous and I remember her taking my head and placing it on her shoulder as she lovingly stroked the side of my face. While on the exam table, she continued to give me cool cloths and hold my hand. With Daizy, I really felt like everything was going to be alright.

I'm also a co-worker and I have seen the way her patients' faces light up when they know she will be their nurse again. I have seen her hug and comfort many patients. I've been a nurse for 17 years and never have I experienced or witnessed such concern, love, and compassion. On a scale of "1-10", Daizy is a "20" in my eyes and I will be forever grateful for the care she gave to me.
