Cindy is one of the charge nurses on PCU and I am the clinical admission coordinator working in the ER and I often speak with her to obtain beds for patients being admitted to the hospital. Cindy is always prepared for each and every patient and is able to assign beds for these patients in a very timely manner. She is always friendly and generates great enthusiasm which reflects in her voice when I am speaking to her on the phone. She clearly enjoys her job and is passionate about getting the patients to the right place the first time. She follows SJMPH mission, vision, and values to deliver extraordinary patient oriented service to meet the many needs of our patients. She is very professional with awesome interpersonal skills. She collaborates with her team effectively and I think is able to multitask efficiently to expedite delivery of patient focused care. She is a proactive leader and a role model to charge nurses everywhere with her never ending positive attitude and her desire to meet the many challenges of nursing to provide compassionate quality care. It's always a pleasure to hear Cindy's voice when I call the charge phone to obtain a bed because I know she will quickly find a more comfortable bed for our patients and there will be no delay in their continued care.
