Cyndi goes above and beyond her job as a nurse. She is very nice to you and understands you are in a lot of pain. She doesn't mind spending the extra time with you and explains everything to you in detail so that you understand what's going on with yourself and your baby. She does everything she can to make sure that you are as comfortable as you possibly can be. She got a peanut ball for me because my back was hurting and gave me really good advice on everything. Cyndi was very nice to my family and made everyone feel well taken care of, me as well as my family and she really didn't have to do the things that she did for us.
She knew I was in a lot of pain and very scared and earlier that day she promised me that she wouldn't leave me until everything was over. Well, her shift was over at 7 pm and I was still in labor and had been since 6 am. Cyndi made good on her promise. She went and changed clothes and was right back in my room and stayed with me explaining everything that was going on so that I understood. Even though I know she was tired after working all day and I know she had a family of her own to go to, she still made good on her promise and stayed with me until my baby was born at 10:16 PM, three hours after her shift ended. She could've easily left and not came back, but she chose to stay with me. Her heart is in her job and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. She was awesome and I honestly don't think I could've done it without her. You can tell that Cyndi loves her job and it really shows in the way she cares for her patients with love and care!
