I have a rare blood clotting disorder and lupus. I have chronic health problems and I tend to wait until the last minute to come for help. Carly Helling immediately assured me that I was in good hands and that I would be taken care of and that they would get to the root of the problem, instead of just "passing the buck" to my blood disorder or lupus.

When she asked questions, she repeated back my answer assuring her understanding of what my issues and symptoms were and are. You have no idea how much that relaxed me immediately. I have a rare blood clotting disorder that has tried to kill me numerous times. In this instance, I had sepsis and am very sick. She was extremely comforting yet professional at the same time. She is very knowledgeable and that put me at ease each time I started to freak out with each bit that I got.

When you are sick like I am and you are in and out of the hospital constantly, you don't get the chance or even want the chance to connect with the person that is taking care of you. I am blessed that I was able to make that connection with her today. When you are sick like I am right now with my own blood poisoning me, it's hard to laugh or smile, hell even smirk, but she had me doing all three.

You can tell that she loves what she does and it takes a lot of courage to take upon the pain, anxiety, fear and anger that are zeroed in on her on a daily basis. She will still walk into your room smiling and ready to help. If I were able to leave my bed, I would get her a bouquet of flowers and a day at the spa.
