Cari was nominated by a coworker after witnessing an extraordinary act. A less fortunate member of the community was brought in by ambulance after a traumatic fall. Cari worked with Social Services to ensure the patient's needs at home would be addressed. Cari was so concerned about this elderly patient that she went home before his discharge and brought back a warm coat that belonged to her father who had recently passed away. This selfless act is just one example of how Cari treats all of her patients and carries out the mission of the Sisters of OSF.
