I'd like to share with you a little bit of our memorable experience with Ashley Morton. My husband was diagnosed with Leukemia for the 2nd time, in as many years in April. To our pleasant surprise one of many familiar faces was here to greet us on the 14th floor. She is definitely quite an asset to your nursing staff. She intelligently yet simply is able to explain everything that was happening in a way that we could understand. Ashley has a very caring and dedicated bedside manner, being interested in our lives and sharing a bit of hers. Making us feel like friends (& family) and a little less like a patient.

Her enthusiasm is very catchy, which is a fantastic gift in itself, as it would be so easy to focus on all the negatives of this disease, especially during a long stay in the hospital. While attending to our every need, she does so with grace and speed. I stayed with my husband every day and night that he was here and even though not as a patient, she was more than happy to make me feel welcome here. We also were witness to Ashley working with a student nurse. She was patient and took her under her helpful wing, taking time to explain procedures etc. which we are sure will enter into the kind of nurse that the student will become. An Awesome one......just like Ashley
