Angelica was patient competent, professional and had a great bedside manner. She put family bonding before duties, such as removing a catheter and dispensing meds. For example, she gave me five minutes to calm my mom, who was crying and needed consoling, then stepped in to do the task, kindly and patiently.

This is the third time my family member has been hospitalized in the past two years at St. Joseph's. As we arrived on the 5th floor yesterday from the telemetry unit, Angelica saw us and was genuinely excited to see us! She is caring, compassionate, communicates very well, and goes that extra mile. She spends extra time with us answering our questions and meeting our needs. Over three hospital stays, she has been consistent in her willingness to address our needs.

The best nursing care I've witnessed in 50 years, including four other hospital experiences. It may seem simple, and yes it is her job, but I liked the way Angelica did her job and cared about my sister's recovery on every level, including some family bonding time.
