Allison is being nominated for the DAISY Award by three of her coworkers who wrote:

Allison has always been seen as a loyal and dedicated employee that exemplifies the values of Piedmont Medical Center. Most recently she has exceeded even her level of excellence. While continuing to staff her unit as needed, maintaining all of her clinical supervisor duties, and teaching Neonatal Resuscitation she stepped to the forefront of Cerner and trained not only the staff but was instrumental in the training of the physicians. She has worked tirelessly to make the Cerner transition both positive and successful. Physicians, staff, and IS have looked to Allison for assistance when problems arose. She has always had the respect of others through her clinical excellence and Piedmont Pride activities and now she adds Cerner training and support to that list we all respect her for. We recognize Allison as a vital asset to our team and would like others to know the full scope of her contribution to PMC.

Piedmont Pride member writes:

Allison was chosen to be a founding member of the Piedmont Pride Committee because of her dedication and determination to make Piedmont an outstanding hospital. The ideas and leadership she provided to that committee have led to many positive changes at Piedmont. Napoleon Bonaparte said, "A leader is a dealer in hope". That can surely be said about Allison. Through many adversities in her personal and professional life, Allison has and continues to be a dealer in hope.
