From the moment I woke up from surgery, to the time that I was transferred from the ICU, Alex was there by my bedside. It wasn't like I was having a nurse caring for me - but it was more like a family member or a good friend was there by my side. I have had many surgeries and never before have I had the attention, compassion and emotional support given to me - as was given to me by Alex.

Not only was Alex's care wonderful, but when my mom called to check on me, Alex showed the same sincerity and compassion to her as well. This enhanced my patient and family experience!

Alex was professional in her care-giving and the job that she performs, but along with that, she was extraordinary in the care and compassion that she also gives. She even came to my room on a different floor to check on me and said, "I didn't have a chance to wish you well and say goodbye".

She is one in a million and I consider myself and my family fortunate to have had her touch our lives.
