I was admitted due to severe heart palpitations and ended up having a heart ablation. Aimee was my nurse for 2 days. She gave me such good care and talked with me about the procedure I was going to have since I was quite upset about it. She was with me on a Monday, when they took me down to do the ablation, but it was canceled since the correct staff was not available. When I returned to my room, my nurse was waiting for me and I was quite upset. Aimee did her best to console me and assured me that she would be with me the next day when it was scheduled to be done for sure. She changed her schedule that day, to be sure I was her patient. Upon my return from the ablation, she gave me such soothing care and reassured my husband that I would be ok. She kept checking on me and made sure the rest of the day I was taken care of by her. As her shift would be over and I would not see her the next day, my husband and I could not thank her enough for all the care she gave me as the patient and my husband as the worried spouse. Aimee took great interest in me, we shared many stories and I felt like she truly cared about her patients. She isn't just your nurse, she's a warm, wonderful person who gives the extra TLC patients need.

My husband was admitted with a 9cm abdomen aortic aneurysm. My husband felt comfortable that Aimee was his nurse. She soothed both of us since we were so unaware of what could lie ahead. Aimee gave my husband such personal care and shared interests with him and me. Aimee just had that extra spark in her smile, personality, warm care and concern for her patients. She is truly devoted to her profession and patients.
