My mother broke her hip. This was extreme pain and fear for an 86-year-old woman. Nights are hard in the hospital and it was stressful for me as well. Bill Adamy spent time with mom. He talked with her and cared for her in a most special way. Before I left at 10 pm he told me, "I'll take good care of your mom," and I knew that those were not shallow words. My mom was so comforted by his care. Bill is most definitely in the right profession and UPMC is fortunate to have him.
