Ellen cared for me while I received a bone marrow biopsy.

My first bone marrow biopsy (in 2006 performed by a different hematologist not at The Christ Hospital) was a miserable, extremely painful experience. When I learned I needed a second one, I was very scared. All of the employees at The Christ Hospital that morning were comforting and professional but Ellen was truly outstanding.

She explained the process thoroughly to me, including how it would be different from my previous one after I described it to her. She assured me that she has been assisting with this procedure for 32 years and that the Doctor was really excellent.

She represented to me a combination of complete professionalism and a wonderful personal approach. She kept me comfortable both physically and emotionally. She is a fantastic member of your team.
