Connie Uber demonstrates Nursing at its finest. She is highly intelligent, organized and remains focused on her patient’s needs and comfort. As a Charge Nurse in the ED at Cape Canaveral Hospital, Connie demonstrates her dedication to excellence in her everyday organization, her forward thinking and her strong support of fellow staff. Extraordinary patient care is her goal every day, every shift. When the department is bursting at the seams, staff knows Connie is working alongside them to handle the crises and to allow them to focus on their patient care. “I feel it is my duty to be sure the department is well run, the staff has what they need and they are free to focus on their patients”. She is just as comfortable to come in early or on her day off to slip into the role of bedside care provider.
