Cheryl often works in ER but she floats to whatever department that needs nursing staff. She willingly volunteers to work extra shifts when needed. In the busy ER I’ve seen her help out the other nurses with their assigned patients and their patient received excellent care with Compassion and Reverence. One particular night Cheryl jumped in and helped to start a TPA Bolus and put on a patient. She explained to the patient the process and side effects and with Compassion for the patient’s concern she remained close to the patient. She showed the utmost Reverence / Integrity not only to the patient but his family members also. She monitored the patient closely until he was transferred to another facility in stable condition.
