Betsy Brechen, RN

Medical Telemetry, Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth

Fort Worth, Texas

Betsy was nominated by a coworker:

"As a new employee, on my first day on the floor, Betsy was the first person to introduce herself and the other staff members. She showed me details on the floor and was right there beside me when I needed hel. Even now that I've been here some time, she's always asking if she can help me with my PCT duties. Betsy is the first person to pop up when an IV beeps and the first person to come running when staff or patients need help. As a charge nurse, she communicates, implements and encourages teamwork, and has fun with both her patients and coworkers. Betsy seems to always get the patients that need extra TLS and never fails them. She's always doing something for the patient, most of the time without being asked. She's a role model for future nurses and current nurses all around. Dedicated to her job, Betsy is the best nurse to work with."
