Barbara was nominated by a patient's friend: "Barbara was an excellent nurse while Judy was in her last hours of life. Not only did she show concern and compassion, but I believe that she genuinely cares for all her patients either living or dying. If we called her to get pain or anxiety meds, she was there in no time at all. She checked on us at least every 15 to 20 minutes just to make sure her patient was not in pain. We at Hospice Compassus focus on comfort measures along with emotional needs. Barbara did both and did them with compassion. We couldn't have asked for a better nurse for Judy in her last hours.
