Amy has many qualities that make her an outstanding nurse. She is proficient in her skills, warm and attentive. She can communicate with the doctors and translate it to the patient without it sounding scary. She also is very good at giving personal attention and encouragement when you need it the most. She cares for the patient as a whole and not just the physical needs. Amy truly makes me feel safe when I am under her care. She is detail oriented with her paperwork and checking of the pumps and monitors. When she arrives at work, she is ready to roll up her sleeves, and she is eager to be a nurse and care for others. As tough as it is to endure a lengthy stay at a hospital, Amy has made my experience here much better, and I look forward to seeing her because I know that I will not be a chart number or a forgotten patient.
